Assembly Required Revisited - Guide

Open with Prayer

On Sunday, Jonny picked up on a previous sermon series called Assembly Required. It

is about how a church needs some assembly as various parts come together over time.

Read Ephesians 2:17-22

Jesus is the cornerstone of the church. Jonny mentioned how we want Missio Dei to be a Jesus

Centered Church.

● Why is the image of a "cornerstone" so significant for describing Christ's role in the

church?

● What do you think a “Jesus Centered” church looks like?

● What keeps people coming together at Missio Dei?

● What is church culture and how would you describe the culture of Missio Dei?

● Do you see us “growing” and “being built up” and, if so, how?

If we strive to be a Jesus Centered Church then our lives must become more centered on him.

● How have you become more like Jesus in recent years?

● What helps you connect with our church?

Closing Prayer

Gracious God, we thank you for our community and the ways you are assembling us.

Help us to be people of love, patience, and grace as we all grow together. Fill us with

your love and let that be a visible mark of our church. Amen.
