Read Genesis 16 slowly and reflectively.

● The Lord promised that Abram and Sarai would have children, yet after many years that

has not happened. What do you think of Sarai’s response and action?

● What do you imagine were the various emotions and thoughts that Hagar experienced?

● Can you relate to Hagar in anyway? Yes or no, and why?

● What are the different ways the Lord shows up in this part of the story? (see verses 7, 8,

and 13)
