Sunday Serve is an opportunity for us to come together and worship Jesus a bit differently than normal. This is an opportunity for us to collectively build our reputation in this city as a people who seek the well being of Salt Lake. We don't want that reputation so we look good, we want that reputation because we want to be faithful in telling the story of Jesus together. Jesus cares about our schools, Jesus cares about refugees and kids with special needs, Jesus cares that teachers are supported in the work they do everyday. As we show up and help with menial tasks we tell that story.
So don't miss it. It’s not a day for us to take a break from church - it is a day where we get to live into the vision of what it means to be the church, the people of Jesus to our city.

Missio Dei SLC
At Missio we have seven tenants and are welcoming people into our building on a weekly basis. In order to be good stewards of what we’ve been given we’ll be cleaning out gutters, light landscaping, facility upgrades and organizing certain closet spaces.
Kids 8+ welcome
Spectrum Academy is a specialized public charter school that serves children grades K-12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The school receives public and private funds, but all of the funds are allocated toward dense staffing needs, like an occupational therapy team, speech therapy team, behavioral therapy team, and special education teachers and paraprofessionals. Because the funds go toward the unique educational needs, beautification projects are never a priority and rarely get done.
There is a playground onsite, and families with kids of all ages are welcome.
