Weekly Update 5.9.19
May 9th, 2019
Good Trouble. In our current series, Good Trouble, we are exploring the way of life that comes in the aftermath of Easter. We are a people of the resurrection but what does it mean to live that reality out in our everyday? We don't have all the answers but we can guarantee it'll get you into a little trouble, and that's a good thing. Join us at 9 or 11am and listen to past sermons here.
New Blog. This Sunday, we head into week 3 of our series, Good Trouble, where we'll look at Philippians 2:1-11. This passage has been called Paul’s “master narrative,” but what makes these few verses so significant and what do they say about Jesus and his people? Read more.
Series Info. You can also find additional information and resources for the series, here.
Child Dedication. Join us this Sunday, May 12th, for our child dedications. Dedicating a child to God is a public sign of a family's commitment to raise their children in the way of Jesus. As families commit to their children, we, as the church, commit to joining with them.
Mom’s Morning. Moms, if you’d like to get out of the house for a bit, have playmates for your kiddos, and be able to interact with other moms, Sarah Schmidth has started a Mom’s Monday Morning. The group meets in the Pre-K room, from 9:30-11:30am on Mondays. Join our Facebook group for more info.
Volunteers for Missio Kids. Do you enjoy working with kids? We’re looking for volunteers who care about kids and want to invest in their spiritual growth! There are exciting things happening in Missio Kids, so sign up to join us in our PreK and Nursery class or at Check-in by emailing us here.
