Holy Words. During this season of Lent we are entering into a series exploring the Psalms of Lament. Most of us don’t have tools to worship and pray through the fullness of human life. The Psalms of Lament give us freedom and tools to live in all the complexity of human life. Like the Psalms of Lament, the season of Lent challenges our sentimentality by drawing us into the temptation, suffering, and death of Jesus––and in turn our own. And like the Psalms of Lament, the season of Lent shows that even the hard of our lives are Holy Words and that God, in Jesus, literally entered into it with us, to be present––body to body. Learn more here.

Easter Baptisms. Jesus gives the church, the gift of baptism as a way to practice and proclaim the reality of our new citizenship in Him. If you consider yourself a follower of Jesus but haven’t been baptized, get baptized, and let’s celebrate the work of Jesus in your life on Easter. Baptism at Missio is open to anyone who wants to follow Jesus. If you are interested in being baptized email Jonny.

Lost and Found. On Sunday, on the counter in the Cafe, we will be laying out all of our lost and found items accumulated over the previous several months. If you have an item you have been looking for, please check this table on Sunday. Everything unclaimed by Sunday's end will be donated!

Child Dedication. On Mother’s Day, May 12, we will be holding child dedications at both the 9am and 11am services! This is an opportunity to declare your commitment to raise your children in the knowledge and love of Christ and in a faithful, christian community. If you would like to dedicate your child on that day, please sign up here by May 1st.

The Peoples Theology.  The latest episode with Leonce Crump, former New Orleans Saint, founding pastor of Renovation Atlanta, and author of the book Renovate. Leonce's story is encouraging and challenging and will force us to ask some good questions about the life and work of Jesus' people. Subscribe at iTunes, Stitcher, or Google Play.
