God is the Gospel. The Psalms invite us towards an intimate and vulnerable space with God. These aren’t superficial prayers but the real cries, hopes, and dreams of the people of God––showing us what it means to truly know and be known by God. Throughout this series we are making the prayers of the Psalms the prayers of our community as we try and respond to their invitation to be known and to know. Join us on Sunday for worship at 9 or 11am!

Volunteer Coordinator Needed. Are you looking for a way to get more involved at Missio Dei? The volunteer coordinator facilitates a quarterly meeting with the volunteer team leaders, loads all services in the Planning Center website and follows up with team leaders on a semi-regular basis, helping arrange volunteers and create templates as needed. For more information you can email Carla here, text her at 815.291.8311 or track her down on Sunday to talk!

The Peoples Theology.  How do we live a distinct way of life as the people of Jesus? How do we tell a different story with our lives? Rest. But for us to truly rest, the way Jesus is inviting is us too, requires risk and risk is hard, there’s no way around that truth. But a life without a risk in trust and rest is harder––emptier.  Subscribe at iTunes,Stitcher, or Google Play.

High School House Church. This month, we began a new House Church for high school students and it will continue to meet every Wednesday at 6pm.
