DOXOLOGY & CALL TO WORSHIP

Quiet in his innocence
Silent like a lamb;
Jesus was led before us.

Guiltless of any crime
But a refusal to exclude;
He was tried in fear.

Yet, even in the hate
he refused to compromise;
to shield himself for us.

That is why we gather,
Because whatever we give
He takes.

Doubt, anxiety or the fury of the mob
He doesn’t compromise love
Instead he calls us home.

Amen.

BENEDICITON

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18-20)

Missio, Jesus is King all authority is his and we are his people, citizens of his Kingdom. Go therefore, into all places to all peoples and live the good news that Jesus’ reigns. Go in the confidence of his authority and be the church this week.

Amen.
