DOXOLOGY & CALL TO WORSHIP
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8
2,000 years ago Jesus called a small group to take his story to the world
He commissioned them and empowered them with his Spirit.
They were never perfect and the good news is, they never had to be.
Today, we gather heirs of that small group––witnesses to our world––
Commissioned and empowered and without the burden to be perfect,
Just the invitation to trust and know that our King is good.
That's why we gather this morning.
To rehear our call. To know our story.
Above all to experience our King.
Let’s worship. Amen.
- Come Ye Sinners
- Ever Be
- No Longer Slaves
- All the Poor and Powerless
At the end of his earthly ministry Jesus gathered together his disciples and said to them;
“All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go. In my name, and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the way of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Missio, that commission is ours. Go now, to all peoples in all place,.
Go now, the people of Jesus, and be the church this week.
