3.4.18 Reflection & Liturgy

Reflection & Liturgy

Each week, we gather as a community to witness to the work of Jesus in the world. Sunday aren't just about seeing friends (though that's great) or drinking good coffee (though we do have the best). Sundays are about experiencing and practicing the Kingdom of Jesus. By gathering together around the table we show the world that God is doing something and, at the same time, we learn what it looks like to practice and participate in this thing Jesus is doing. Each piece of our service is a part of that experience and practice.

Doxology & Call to Worship

God, you made this world;
A place of your presence,
Of relationship,
And of goodness.

But, we made this world;
A place of absence,
Of mistrust,
And of brokenness.

The good news Missio is that
Our God is renewing this world
Transforming and remaking it into;
A place of presence
Of relationship
Of goodness.

That is why we gather today;
To taste and see that God is at work,
To know relationship,
And to experience His presence.

Today we gather
Because, Emmanuel, our God is with us
Because our God is present.

Missio, this is your call to worship.

  • Beautiful Things
  • I have Decided to Follow Jesus

  • Jesus Paid it All
  • Wonderful, Merciful Savior
  • Nothing but the Blood

Missio, our God is with us,
And in his presence we find hope.

Missio our God is with us,
And in his presence we find renewal.

Missio, our God is with us,
And in his presence, we find our mission.

Go now, a people of the presence of God,
So that in you, the world might find it’s hope.

Go now, the living temple, and be the church this week.
