2.11.2018 Liturgy & Reflection

All.png

Each week, we gather as a community to witness to the work of Jesus in the world. Sunday aren't just about seeing friends (though that's great) or drinking good coffee (though we do have the best). Sunday's are about experiencing and practicing the Kingdom of Jesus. By gathering together around the table we show the world that God is doing something and at the same time, we learn what it looks like to practice and participate in this thing Jesus is doing. Each piece of our service is a part of that experience and practice.

Doxology & Cal To worship

Welcome, all who are weary and heavy laden.

Welcome, all who hear the Bible say; “love the Lord your God with all your strength,”
And say in return, "I have none.”

Welcome, all who are weary and heavy laden.

Today, we gather because the good news of the Bible is that our God is our strength
All we do in return is say, “I trust you.”

Today we gather in trust
Trusting in;
Our Almighty God.
Our Compassionate King
And the ever Present Spirit.

Missio this is your call to worship. Amen.

Benediction

Missio as you go out today,
Back to work and to neighborhoods,
Back to rhythms and routines
Know that you do not go alone.

You go sent and empowered
Full of grace and strength
Full of the Spirit of God
The same Spirit that Created the world.

So go now Missio
Not with a spirit of Fear
But strengthened by the Spirit of God
Go now, his people on his mission.

Go into all places to all peoples
in the name of our;
Almighty God
Our Compassionate King
And the ever Present Spirit.
