Weekly Update 1.11.18

Here's what's happening at Missio!

New Sermon Series: SHEMA January 7-February 11

When you hear about God, what's your usual response? How does what you hear impact what you do? The Bible has a specific way of calling followers of God to not just hear God but to respond to him. Over the next six weeks, we will be looking at the Bible to take inventory of how we hear and obey God. We will walk through specific words of the Bible that Jesus commands us to live and seek to follow him in doing so.

Family Planning Workshop

Mark and Amelia Parrett have been leading the Annual Goals Summits for a few years and are doing an afternoon workshop for couples to walk through the what, why and how of planning your family's 2018. This event will provide a forum for you and your spouse to talk about everything that matters to your future, time to really listen to each other’s needs and hopes, tailor your own expectations, and support each other. Childcare and refreshments will be provided. Join us at Missio SLC on January 20 from 1-4pm. The cost is $10 per couple (scholarships available) register by January 16.  Register HERE.
